I was wary about trying this. I am always skeptical of whiskies that have some sort of celebrity influence or association. Well, I'm happy to report that this is a wonderful whisky. It's not a powerfully smoky Lagavulin like what I am used to. Drinking it again right now. Soft and subtle with a chocolate tone. An interesting sweet finish, very smooth going down Nose: sea spray, chocolate, soft floral tones, oatmeal, and soft peat. On the tongue, it's mildly astringent and there's oatmeal, soft toffee, chewy dry bananas. The finish is soft and sweet.
