My sweetest stalker @orangehemingway... I didn’t know him his first two years, but the last 8 he stuck to me like glue. @n_c_b likes to stay I kidnapped his 🐈 and that’s why he ultimately had to move in with me but the truth is, I cat-sat Orange while Noah was in Australia early in our courtship, and once he got comfortable, there was no going back. I never wanted a cat or really any pet, but Orange wormed his way into my heart with his cuteness and sweetness to our girls who absolutely adored him. A rescue cat with high anxiety let two babies turned toddlers chase, pet, pull, and kidhandle him and never did a claw come out. A swat here and there to let them know to back up, which they always did, but that’s it. Despite all my complaints (the scratched up furniture and doors, litter box (ew), high maintenance food needs, aversion to car travel and also being alone, and constant need for me and often only me to pet him regardless of my mild but real cat allergies (hello swollen shut eyes), I really loved that little guy and we are all extremely sad he will no longer be a part of our daily lives. I am so grateful to have had the time we had together and he will be sorely missed. RIP lil guy.
