FROM THE GARDEN TO THE PLATE
. 🇬🇧 In Marbella Club Tomato Garden we picked tomatoes from the end of July until the middle of September. It is wonderful and a real luxury to be able to taste freshly picked tomatoes straight from the plant to the plate in such beautiful surroundings. I selected from my own tomato bank about 60 varieties that we planted at the Marbella Club. A large part of them are seeds that I collected from tomatoes that Prince Louis Albert de Broglie gave me from his Tomato Conservatory in his Château de la Bourdaisière. The rest are seeds from tomatoes that I have been collecting for the last 10 years from various friends gardens, exchanges at collectors' fairs, markets... my only criterion being Flavour. . 🇪🇸 En el jardin de tomates de Marbella Club recogimos tomates desde final de julio hasta medio septiembre. Es maravilloso y un verdadero lujo poder dar a probar tomates recién recogidas directamente de la mata al plato en este entorno tan precioso. Seleccione de mi banco de tomates unos 60 variedades que plantamos en Marbella Club. Una gran parte son semillas que recogí de tomates que me regalo el Príncipe Louis Albert de Broglie de su Conservatorio de Tomates del Château de la Bourdaisière. El resto son semillas de tomates que recogí en los últimos 10 años en varias huertas de amigos, intercambios en ferias de coleccionistas, mercados... mi único criterio siendo el Sabor. .
