I made a promise to myself that this would be my year. The year to make my visions & goals a reality. The year that I do less talking & more doing. Sometimes we get so caught up in planning & thinking we are making progress towards our goals, when in reality we are just procrastinating. We are avoiding just doing the “thing.” You are never going to be ready. You are never going to craft the perfect plan. Just start. And don’t start big, start small. Even if you feel like it’s pointless in the moment because there is no instant gratification. The small steps are an extremely important part of the process in order to set your future self up for success. I’ll be honest, I’m not even totally sure what I am doing, but I’m figuring it out as I go. I just got my website built. I just got my business license. I just opened a business bank account. I just purchased a logo. I started a movement. Am I where I want to be? Absolutely not. But, I’m closer than I was yesterday. Little progress is better than no progress at all. Life isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Just start. Never forget that every single one of your dreams is possible.
