Kismet. Serendipity. Destiny. Call it what you will, but after lunch I just had to duck into @suaysewshop where I immediately fell in love with this handmade quilt. I knew this boring chair in my living room needed a pop of color, so the credit card came out... Was it much more expensive than my usual thrift store treasures? Yes, but... I don’t buy designer clothes (obviously!) and I don’t take vacations (because I travel so much for work!) Also, since I had just received a free strawberry scone right before this (see my last post), I figured it was a sign from the universe that it was OK for me to splurge!
