Super simple & easy homemade toffee perfect for adding to all of your toffee cookies, cakes & blondie desires! All you need is butter, brown sugar, and a thermometer. I made this recently as an update to my toffee blondies (coming tomorrow!) to add more flavor & make them a little bit more special. More details to come in my toffee blondie post, but for now...
56g salted or unsalted butter
pinch of salt (if unsalted)
100g light brown sugar
Stir ingredients constantly over medium heat until the mixture reaches 300F / 148C. Pour onto a parchment lined baking sheet then smooth & thin out the mixture. Let sit for 10 minutes, then break in to pieces & enjoy!
