We are so excited to share that Team @BeautyForFreedom has expanded #ProjectMexico (a workshop series for survivors of sex trafficking utilizing art as therapy to empower) with our partner organization @Anthus_AC and our amazing team of artists led by our BFF ambassador and project manager @joannapauline__ She has been a supporter and ambassador for our organization for years and we are truly grateful for her dedication and passion for empowering survivors through creativity. Joanna brought such incredible artists into this project and we want to thank these artists for sharing their creative gifts, time and love with these young women! Multidisciplinary Artist and Activist Alea Rain @alea.rain who taught dance classes and led meditation Make-up Artist Jaqui Acosta @jaqui.danmua who provided make-overs and taught make-up classes Photographer Jenny Herrera @jennher95 who taught photography classes We are so proud of these artists and Joanna and incredibly grateful. The young survivors at ANTHUS loved this BFF workshop series and what these creatives fostered in these young women is self-love, creativity as a tool to heal from trauma and the knowledge that they are worthy of a life filled with opportunity and hope!
