December was filled with doctor appointments, uncertainty, and ultimately an open shoulder surgery. This changed our Christmas plans and we were super sad to say the least. But! Praise the Lord that despite a few tough weeks of surgery recovery, we were still able to find joy in this season. We celebrated early with the Satterfield PJ Christmas and late with my mom and step-dad flying out here last minute. We’re so thankful for our family, friends, church and coworkers who have been so supportive this month with meals, flexibility and prayers for us. Drew still has a long road of recovery left but we are thankful for God’s grace and healing so far. ❤️
