Issey Miyake (1938-2022) In the 1980s, he was one of the pioneers of Japanese avant-garde fashion. Together with Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo, he revolutionised the international fashion scene with a minimalist style inspired by oriental shapes, colours and spirituality. Issey Miyake has passed away today, but his legacy is here to last. His touching work let us look at the world with different eyes. We can just say thank you and may your soul rest in peace.
