SATURDAY! Music, burgers, baddies and that waterview with the good weather. It's goin down. And here's the thang-- there would be no shainashepherdmusic without @flymoonroyalty or @nightrainseattle FACTS. One band crafted an impossible space for Black femme musicians (storytelling musicians) that didn't consistently exist. The other nurtured me (like, all of me) in song, in theme, in community and in friendship. My great friends in @breaksandswells have been turning the party with some of the strongest soul arrangements in the game for a GRIP and Saturday I'll be bringing my best for the womxn who have been my sisters in music over the past years. This is my last show of the summer: one of the realest, most fulfilling summers of my life. I've got true joy to share this day with my music framily - y'all should be there with us.
