It’s taboo for mothers to express ambivalence about parenthood, and even more so for caregivers of children with limitations. The short documentary “Holding Moses,” by the filmmaker Rivkah Beth Medow (@sweetdelight_or_endlessnight), intentionally confronts that taboo. Caregivers are a “deeply invisible community,” Medow said, and sharing complicated feelings about caregiving can feel like “taking up space” in a way that feels “selfish, inappropriate, or unacceptable.” Watch the intimate portrait of parenting and disability at the link in our bio.
