Everyone has their own path towards finding their unshakeable confidence, but here are some resources and practices that have helped me: 1. Cutting out alcohol: this has helped immensely with my anxiety and setting me up for energized, happy days. 2. Maintaining a regular exercise and sleep routine: it’s not always perfect but I find when I put my phone in another room and go to bed at 8/9pm I’m ready to chase my dreams first thing in the morning and the day goes better. 3. Meditating / Quietness: I realized meditating doesn’t have to be sitting in quiet or Tibetan chime bowls (though nothing wrong with either of those), but it can be be done however best suits your life. For me, I like to listen to positive affirmations or guided meditations while I workout/ go for long walks. I like to listen to Neville Goddard. 4. Choosing forgiveness: moving forward really does begin with letting go of the past. And it also means saying sorry and meaning it. 5. Creating boundaries: I say no all the time and I don’t feel guilty or afraid. I choose me and work hard to be assert with my communication. These three books helped me A LOT with boundary setting in a personal and professional space: Super Communicators, The Courage To Be Disliked and Likable Badass. 6. Committing to myself: I try my best everyday to do what I tell myself I am going to do. I commit to myself like I would a friend. Because at the end of the day, we each need to champion ourselves like we would a best friend. Hope this is helpful.
