What a special day celebrating one year of @stronggirlerallc It feels like just yesterday I was getting fired from my commercial gym job for deciding to start SGE, with no clue how to run a business. Back in 2021, I wrote in my notebook that I wanted to own a business by the time I was 23—God clearly had plans to make that happen sooner than I imagined. I had a vision on my heart for a long time, but never in my wildest dreams did I think SGE would be where it is just one year in. My goal was to create a space and community where women could feel safe, strong, and confident, and it’s incredible to see that vision come to life. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished in the past year: - SGE started renting space out of a 500 sq ft studio in Hudson. - We manually invoiced through QuickBooks each month. - We filled my trunk with donations for Veterans Inc. - We began running 4-person group classes in that 500 sq ft studio. - Invested in @drdalebartek to help put systems into place—built a new website with funnels, and now clients can book and buy packages on their own. - Moved to a 3,000 sq ft space (still rented). - Small group classes grew to 8 people. - Started a faith-based/donation-based class. - Launched monthly community service events. If you have something strong on your heart and in your gut, I encourage you to just go for it. Trust in the plan that God has laid out for you. As Proverbs 16:9 says, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” I’m trusting in that plan wholeheartedly. I should be stressed beyond belief, but instead, I have a peace that is indescribable. And this is just the beginning. I left my job to stop working for someone else, only to find myself working 24/7 for SGE 😂. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I feel beyond blessed and can’t wait to see what the future holds
