Walking Mathias Road Loop 🥾 This 8.7km loop trail in The Dandenongs, about an hour out of Melbourne, starts by winding through a forest of native and exotic trees in the RJ Hamer Arboretum. I took a few twists and turns through Olinda and then into the Botanic Gardens. I have no idea where I was supposed to go after that! The path must have been closed because I ended up walking on a track parallel to the correct track and sliding down the (very muddy) hill and jumping the fence to get back onto it. Either way, the colours of the trees here even in the middle of winter were beautiful 🍁🍂
