Hi, how are ya? A quick adoption update... a stressful legal appeal is over and done with, we have another new social worker (third on now!) which is a bit unnerving this close to the end of the journey but hopefully all will be ok 👌🏽 The child we have been matched with turned 1 last week 🎈 which was a strange feeling because we would have loved to have him with us for his first birthday, but there’s no rushing these things - we’ve learnt that the LONG way. We have our matching panel date booked in for January which really is the last big thing to get over before we meet our child 🙌🏼 God, will saying that ever sound real??? 😭 We have more meetings to go in, one to meet the foster carers of the child which we’re really excited about! We’re looking at March time to hopefully have our boy back with us. So still another three months but that feels like nothing to the 2 years to get here. Phewww... I think that’s it for now! ❤️
