Are you willing to take risks — or does fear hold you back? For this #ThrowbackThursday, we’re coming back to this insightful talk from education activist and Girls Who Code founder Reshma Saujani (@reshmasaujani). In her TED Talk, Saujani explains how we need to teach our children (especially girls!) to stop striving for perfection and to be bold, take risks and go after what excites them. Because when we teach perfection over courage, it can impact them well beyond childhood — into adulthood and the workforce. This also means that the world is losing out on the many great ideas women can contribute to the economy, society and more! So what can we do? We need to teach girls — of all ages — that their voices matter and they can be daring and courageous, and take chances in this world! 💪🏻 “I need each of you to tell every young woman you know — your sister, your niece, your employee, your colleague — to be comfortable with imperfection.” Want to learn more?
