Earlier this week I saw a screening of “A Jazzman’s Blues” at the new Tudum Netflix theater. Prior to the screening we were enlightened to hear directly from @tylerperry about the genesis of this film , which was inspired by a conversation Tyler shared with the late great August Wilson. The tenacity of faith it required to get this film made is quite inspiring. This story itself is set during the Jim Crow era and has plenty of drama, rich visuals, music and dance numbers (choreographed by the phenomenal @debbieallen) to enjoy. Congratulations to all involved especially #JoshuaBoone (who has the voice of an angel) and #SoleaPfeiffer on her big screen debut! 🙌🏾💃🏽💫
