TGIF! So far this summer has been busy, fun and thankfully filled with lots more travel. What have you been up to this summer? Recently, the hubs and I visited @Sonoma Valley Wine to experience some of the wonderful things that the region has to offer. Take a closer look at all of the fun-filled things we did during our visit toSonoma Valley:We stayed at the gorgeous SpanishMediterranean @Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn aka our home away from home. We absolutely love their picturesque grounds, spacioussuites & their relaxing world class spaWe enjoyed a beautifully curatedSeasonal Wine & Food Tasting Experience at @ramsgatewinery. I'm still dreaming about their vanilla butter poached prawns paired with their estate Sauv Blanc. We saw 'Let's Dance' ~ a fun compilation of Broadway's most iconic musicals performed by @Transcendence in the outdoor ruins of the historic Jack London State Park. We went off roading in a classic Pinzgauer Jeep and explored the expansive vineyards of @Gundlach Bundschu (California's oldest family-owned winery) and sipped wine along the way. We had the pleasure of sitting down with the owner and wine maker of @laprendawines and tasted a variety of their impressive complex wines. Their sparkling PetNats are a refreshing must have during the hot summer months. We had dinner & wine al fresco at theiconic @@girlandthefigsonoma where we enjoyed their fan fav duck confit, steak tartare and the best asparagus dish I have ever had!We checked off a bucket list item ofdoing a sunrise hot air balloon ride with @@sonomaballooning soaring above thepicturesque vineyards of Sonoma Valley. I am still in awe of how serene and peaceful it was. We ended our trip at the visually stunning property of @courseygraves winery located on Bennett Mountain. We toured their impressive stone-carved caves and tasted their limited edition artisanal wines while gazing at their spectacular colorful landscape.
