The end of an era... I started out this journey 4 years ago. 4 years of blood, sweat, and tears saying goodbye never got easier but I have done it with 6 different pigs. I have raised for the KISD show, Fort Bend County show and now at the Houston Livestock Show! Showing livestock was always so much more than just showing them at shows, each of my pigs have taught me what it means to be patient, confident, driven to always do better, and how to truly love something that I was passionate about. At the end of the day we were a team, we lost together and we won together. I am the person I am today because of what I do and wouldn’t want it any other way. This week was filled with little sleep, lots of new experiences and my final goodbye to raising pigs for livestock shows. I am beyond grateful for all the experiences I have gained and sad to see this chapter of my life come to an end. As the next chapter of my life opens I can’t wait to see where I go! Boozy, I can’t believe how much we accomplished this year. Thank you for pushing through your injuries so that we could show for one final time together. I would have never thought I would be showing at the HLSR on those GREEN shavings but WE DID IT! You where the best last pig I could have asked for. Party it up in pig heaven for me! I love you forever Boozy💙
