When was the last time you cleaned your front load washing machine? Just because it “cleans” your clothes doesn’t mean it cleans itself during the process. Front loaders get really gross and need to be cleaned once every 1-2 months to prevent mold buildup and stinky smells. This takes about 10 minutes as long as you stick with a monthly or bimonthly cleaning sesh, but if it’s been a while since you’ve cleaned it (or if you never have) that first cleaning may take a bit longer so plan for 30-45 minutes.
