A snippet of an explanation for a student why a stiff trail arm created a “cover and smother” move resulting in low hooking shots. Allowing the trail arm to fold at the elbow based on how your body works allows the face to stabilize and release properly. This student’s grip tested him where his club face should match his spine angle at P2 and I directed him to ensure rotation and pivot allowing the club head to release through the ball. Working from hip height, smaller swings, allows us to focus on impact to build the motor pattern. ⛳️ @woodranchgc 🏌🏼‍♀️@callawaygolf 👟👕👖 @Swooshstaff @nikegolf @oakley
