Please always make sure to check the tightness and examine your pet’s neck area regularly! Many collars/ training devices can dig into the skin & cause injury if used improperly or get too tight. Their hair coats thicken and grow which often causes these collars to become tighter without realizing. Weight gain can also cause tightness. I see this issue more often with the very hairy breeds since its easy to not notice issues until it’s really bad (aka discharge and foul odor).
