Yesterday was arguably one of the longest, most rewarding days of my life. After an abysmal race Friday night, we got rerouted after circling forever and landed at the wrong airport. We landed at almost 5:00am, ubered to Burdett’s house, picked up a vehicle and he drove me home at 5:44, showered and left at 6:00am, drove over an hour to the tournament with @ashleyallgaier. Watching these girls crush it all day, going undefeated, and winning the Gold Bracket Championship was unbelievable! I couldn’t be more proud of Harper, and all of her teammates. 1 year ago today, Harper picked up a glove and a bat for the first time EVER. That’s 365 day of hard work and effort, and to see it all come together yesterday was to wild. @AshleyAllgaier is an absolute rockstar and I have no clue how she does it. She’s truly an incredible mom and it’s amazing watching her with the girls and being as organized as she is. Willow was an awesome little sis for sure and cheered on her big sis until she couldn’t even open her eyes. She was too sweet. All in, I’ve had amazing parents that always made every effort to be there for me no matter the time it took, and yesterday I now finally understand why!!
