24 hours I don’t think I’ll ever forget. I still don’t think I have the words to describe quite what I feel or what I want to say. Grateful that there are many better with words than me around, so the simplicity of “thank you” and the words of Her Late Majesty, “Grief is the price we pay for love.” With that in mind Ma’am, I believe the outpouring of grief, love and support we have seen since the news broke of your passing shows that we all loved you, dearly. I went to visit Windsor this morning to pay my respects to Her Late Majesty at Windsor Castle alongside hundreds of mourners. Walking towards the Long Walk entrance to the Castle, where flowers can be laid, you can see the sadness in people’s eyes and the by the way they walk, stop and stand. Many, including myself, with a tear or two in their eyes. There was a very emotional moment when to my right, a group of young children from a local school all lined up with their teachers to all lay and individual red rose in memory of The Queen. I’m sure many who believe and hope the Royal Family will be comforted to know that she is now in glory with The King she served all her life, Jesus, face to face. RIP Ma’am. Praying for The King and @theroyalfamily.
