In honor of #NationalComingOutDay, we’re shining a spotlight on Cherie and Keith Washington, a mother and son, superstar pair of L'Oréal USA employees, and active participants of our LGBTQIA+ think tank OUT @ L'Oréal. We spoke with them about their story and the significance of this important day. "In [that] moment I needed my child to understand that I was his mom no matter what,” says Cherie. “The fierce protector and loyal advocate was still on his side. Our children are an extension of us, but they are their own people. They deserve to live and love as their whole selves."
