I’ve been having so much fun cooking for our little fam again. If I could, I’d go back and hug the me who was so stressed when my baby wasn’t into solids. It honestly took until around 10–11 months before she really started showing interest in food (and not just mama milk ha). Now she’s eating what we eat, and it’s been such a joy to watch her explore new flavors. I’ll try to share more of our family meals here (and maybe even remember to snap the aftermath next time — I always forget haha). These ones were a smash this week. The dogs were not pleased since there weren’t many floor scraps. The salmon patties are so easy and freezer-friendly. My mom always made them growing up, so I just do what she does: ✨ 1 can wild-caught salmon (double if you’re batching) ✨ shredded zucchini + carrots ✨ about 1 tbsp soaked chia seeds (as egg replacer — or add egg too) ✨ a little flour (oat works great) ✨ spices, green onions, maybe a squeeze of lemon Shape into little patties and bake at 350° for 10–15 mins (I just keep checking, lol).
