 My name is Andrew Nash. I am 17 years old and from Dallas, Texas. I can’t begin to tell you how honored I am to be the Senior Dancer of the Year this season for Tremaine. This is my last year as a competitive dancer, and I wouldn’t want to
spend it any other way. My first competitive dance experience started when I was nine years old, and I haven’t looked back. I have spent the last five years training at Dana’s School of Dance with DV8 The Company under the direction of Melanie Tyler Horne. Having the opportunity to train under the incredible staff and fellow company members has pushed me to become the dancer I am today. Having the support of my home studio has made my dream of being a Tremaine DOTY possible. I can’t thank them enough for always pushing me outside of my comfort zone and helping me grow as an artist. I look forward this season to expanding my knowledge of dance under the Tremaine faculty and grow from their mentorship. I have been a member of the Tremaine Performance Company for four years and made so many lifelong friends along the way. I have enjoyed being a part of this family and look forward to so many more memories this year.
