Shot by the goat 🤝🏿 I was photographed by #DeannaLawson for this 2018 work entitled “Nation.” It’s so crazy and powerful to finally see it in person and to be part of one of her most iconic photographs. The teeth over my face is the only digital image of George Washington’s dentures, who’s documented as having bought teeth from enslaved people. Proud to represent my people for this.
