a very hard pill to swallow moment i had this year was when i moved to LA and realizing i have to build my clientele again from the ground up. it really started to get to me. so my favorite thing i love to say is, “baby, middle, and high school Lani would be so proud!”, to really remind myself that I’m still living up to my dreams. getting booked here and there is better than not getting booked at all. cheers to being kinder to yourself and making your inner child so proud! <3
