Natasha's color formula!!! When I was told we would be coloring a wig pastel blue for @therealkrystenritter to wear as the witch I immediately started coloring extension swatches to figure out which color production, Krysten and everyone else would like. After a bit of trial and error (and a rejected Navy blue wig I loved) we settled on the perfect formula for our wicked witch. Wigs can be tricky as they don't behave like the hair growing out of our heads so we had to dilute the formula A LOT. #Nightbooks #nightbooksnetflix #krystenritter - Starting with a palest blonde human hair wig we used the following color formula: - Root Color: 3N color fusion 10 volume equal parts - Blue: 1oz Blue Aqua 9oz Crystal clear & equal parts processing solution. - Every other day or so we would Flash tone using the same formula diluted even further with a bit of water. As we were heat styling the hair it would fade very quickly so we had multiple wigs on hand to ensure Natasha was always looking her most wicked and fashionable self.
