12 whole years without you. I feel like I say this every year, but this day never gets easier. But, to have a mom like you means I am truly one of the luckiest girls in the world. Finding these pictures reminded me of just how happy my mom always was. Throughout her long battle with cancer, one of the only things I can remember is her smile. Not her sickness or pain- but her smile. She did it all with a smile. I hope that everyone is lucky enough to know a woman like Amy Tucker. And that if I have even an ounce of the love she had for others- I am in the luckiest daughter in the world. We miss and love you so much. The strongest woman I have ever known- I wish you could see everything going on in our lives right now. I know you’d be proud. Call your mom today! Give someone a smile. Cancer sucks.
