We’re delighted to return to our sensational @sydlivmus family for an After Dark Mardi Gras gathering
at the Hyde Park Barracks on Thursday 24th February as we celebrate @sydneymardigras with a queer-friendly program featuring music, performance, art and ideas.
The fabulous @fbiradio has curated a music line-up featuring electronic music legends @stereogamous (that’s us!) with stupendous special guests @an.so.ie @jamaicamoana @macleanbrendan and Indigenous gender illusionist & showgirl Sarah Moany @goddess_sarah87 Plus support by electro-pop kingly @klubkavi along with resident FBi DJ the iconic @isabluetick
Also join a body-positive and inclusive life-drawing class run by @gladdydrawingclub, get crafty with @amyblueillustration, or grab a headset and experience DJ sveta's musical interpretation of the historic site.
Creative producer Jacqui North presents her work “The love that dare not speak its name” a piece that brings together homoerotic love, satire and tragedy, in light art projections onto the Barracks. Jacqui will join also SLM curators Dr Scott Hill and Mel Flyte to discuss hidden queer histories.
Plus food and drink from @ozharvest, @thenighthawkdiner and @archierosesyd.
