y’all i am not kidding when i say this is one of the best salads to come out of my kitchen maybe ever 😏 recipe below!! 🫶🏻💞 this one is perfect for those who don’t hate salad but do hate when salad goes bad in 5 seconds 😮💨 . SESAME CITRUS CABBAGE SALAD RECIPE (serves 4) . INGREDIENTS (For the salad) 1/2 medium head green cabbage, julienned or shredded (use bagged coleslaw to make this easier!) 1 large carrot, julienned or shredded 4 green onions, sliced Big handful of cilantro, chopped 2 small oranges or mandarins, peeled and diced 2 cups cubed cooked chicken (or 1-2 cans chickpeas to make it veggie) Optional fun crunchy add-ins: 1 cup chopped cashews, 1/2 cup chow mein noodles, 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds . (For the dressing) 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil 3 Tbsp toasted sesame oil 1/4 cup fresh orange and/or lime juice 2 Tbsp rice vinegar 1/2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup 1/2 tsp ground ginger or 2 tsp grated fresh ginger 1/2 tsp salt . INSTRUCTIONS 1) Combine all the salad ingredients in a big bowl. 2) Shake together the dressing ingredients in a small jar or whisk together in a small bowl. 3) Pour dressing over the salad, toss together and eat!
