For his Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2023 show, Kim Jones sparked a conversation between the lush countryside setting of Christian Dior’s childhood home in Granville, Normandy, and the heritage of post-impressionist painter Duncan Grant. As models walked down a garden runway between smaller-scale replicas of Dior’s birth home and Grant’s farmhouse in Charleston, England, the abundant greenery and flowers evoked a romantic getaway, playing with the changing weather and light of the seasons.
