When craving pho and in a pinch, Pho Cafe in Silverlake will do. They don’t have an IG and for the longest time they didn’t even have a sign. The pho, both beef and chicken, is pretty good, though you do have to jazz up the broth with hoisin, sriracha and herbs. The quality of the meat is very good and if you order for delivery or takeout (which I do often), it travels quite well. The menu is rather limited but they do have the basics like eggrolls, spring rolls, banh xeo and vermicelli bowls. In fact, their Cha Ca La Vong (tumeric fish) is one of my favorite things to get.
