Women drive up to 85% of all consumer decisions and household spending. Yet we continue to be underestimated when it comes to our impact on the US #economy. The few companies that do recognize our disproportional impact target #women with bullsh*t pinkwashed or “ethical” #holiday shopping campaigns that are anything but ethical. Surveys suggest that (specifically) moms bear the brunt of 97% of holiday prep: decorations, cooking, gift buying, etc. There is no mystery of holiday magic...the magic is your mom - and the women in your life - driving the US economy. As you’re prepping for this holiday season, keep in mind that your financial decisions are a form of protest. If you’re going to #shop, give your business to companies that walk the walk on feminism and use your dollars to advance women led companies that will be the change we want to see in the world.
