My guy @richardyoungry and I just got back from visiting the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg. The verdict— GO!! It is one the best museums I’ve ever been to, deeply impactful. The Human Rights violations in this country and from around the world are atrocious and heartbreaking, and this museum does not shy away from any nation’s responsibility, including Canada’s. That acknowledgement, the fact that we can look at our past and say, damn, let’s not do that again, is what makes this country beautiful. Taking responsibility requires strength and courage, and hopefully in the end makes this place better than it was yesterday. If your travels ever bring you to Winnipeg, @humanrights.ca is an absolute must. #Winnipeg
