This past week more than 240 scientists, oyster growers, restoration experts, watermen, graduate students, and other experts came together for the 2022 Chesapeake Oyster Science Symposium. The one-of-a-kind gathering, held by the @chesapeakeoysteralliance in the heart of oyster country at The Tides Inn along the Rappahannock River, explored emerging science and innovative approaches to growing and restoring oysters. Together, we’re working on new ways to reach our goal of adding 10 billion oysters to the Bay by 2025.
