What a way to spend the day and celebrate @EatLearnPlay’s three-year anniversary! Stephen, Ayesha, and Eat. Learn. Play. spent an unforgettable afternoon hosting more than 1,000 kids from local summer camps at our first “Eat. Learn. Play. Day at the Ballpark.” The Currys and campers spent the day eating, learning, playing, and cheering on our hometown @athletics to a win. After the game, every child had a chance to run the bases with Stephen and then went home with new backpacks full of incredible books. We overheard one child saying, “This is the best day of my life!” That’s not all! In the morning, @ayeshacurry and @stephencurry30 joined @kaboom @the_unity_council, and @ripple_global to put the finishing touches on a new kid-designed playground that will serve as a safe space to play for Oakland kids. Veggies were planted, murals painted, and climbing walls constructed. It was the culmination of months of planning and a week’s worth of work by over 250 volunteers.
