A Los Angeles-area home asking $8.375 million has a walk-in closet equipped with a champagne bar. The five-bedroom, roughly 3,500-square-foot home is located in Santa Monica, said listing agent Lisa Optican of Douglas Elliman. LeeAnn Sauter, an entrepreneur in the retail industry, and her husband, real-estate investor John Sauter, purchased the home for about $2.3 million in 2004 as a place to raise their children, who are now grown, said Ms. Sauter. The space that is now Ms. Sauter’s walk-in closet was a playroom for their children until she converted it about three years ago, she said. The roughly 200-square-foot room has colorful wallpaper, display shelving and a balcony with ocean views, she said. The space also has a sink and a refrigerator she stocked with champagne. More via the link in @wsjrealestate's bio. 📸: ANTHONY BARCELO
