HAVE YOU DONATED YET?? last week, in partnership with @weareaeoworks we launched the @blackfloristfund. In launching this endeavor, we acknowledge that systemic racism is the very fiber on which this country is built and that it is the responsibility of white led/ owned businesses that have benefited from that system to be part of dismantling it in small & large ways including in the floral community. We are launching this fund with our own resources and hope that you will join us by contemplating how you too can address the role that white privilege has likely played in the growth of your business or your life. While it won’t solve the problem of a disproportionate lack of Black-owned floral businesses in this country, we hope it will provide some valuable support to stabilize and grow a number of Black floral businesses each year.
