i was never someone who fantasized about being a mother, but now that this season has arrived, i’m feeling more anchored and rooted in myself & this chapter than ever. and that’s nearly all to do with this community that has rallied behind me and this baby of ours. i feel grounded in my autonomy because of them, confident in my changing body because of them, wholly celebrated because of them. this shower was what dreams are made of because they showed up and reminded me that change is beautiful and life is precious. huge thank you to my hosts: @Avery Gidley, @Julia Havens, @Chelsea J.
