The NMEC, in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in Cairo, organized an event marking the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. It included the screening of a documentary film about the story of the discovery, preparations for the launch of the first temporary exhibition of some collectibles in Los Angeles in 2018, and an exhibition of rare photographs related to the story of the discovery of the tomb.
