Three 🔥🔥 drills for decreasing excessive compensation patterns of the trunk when reaching overhead: 1️⃣ prone snow angels: keep the forehead in contact with an object just as high as the tip of the shoulder 2️⃣coupled shoulder flexion/abduction = line of pull must challenge shoulder flexion with the back flat on the floor 3️⃣ OH decelerations = the Swiss ball is preferred to still allow the thoracic spine to rotate and sidebend against a little give ⚠️Moving the arm into full shoulder flexion requires the thoracic spine to move into extension + ipsilateral coupling of flexion and rotation. Otherwise the the scapula cannot posteriorly tilt increasing the chances for shoulder impingment 🏷️tag a teammate that can benefit from this exercise #GETBACKINTHEGAME
