And just like that it’s over. I could sit here and a right a book about the last 6 years and what running has done for me. I could explain every moment every race every up and down especially in the last 2 years. Running killed me, grew me, changed me, and taught me things I never would’ve learned. As I sit here looking at old pictures, old memories I realize what it has also given me. It gave me a friendship that’ll last a lifetime and friendships that I will never forget. I wish I could give everything to every single girl on the team because they truly deserve it. They gave me the best last season and to the seniors who continued to show up every year. To my family I owe them everything. They never missed a meet they showed up and supported, cared, and loved me through it all. I couldn’t have done this without them. Overall I say thank you to everyone I encountered during this journey I will never forget you and the impact you made. Although this door has closed I know God is opening a new one.
