Coming out of my social media hiatus to fanboy over @jonmchu Having never been on a red carpet before, my first one being for @shangchi a few moons ago was an absolute dream and blur of an experience. As I’m off to the side taking it all in, a confident man in a bright blue suit is finishing up his glam shots, and instantly I realize who it is, the man whose film @crazyrichasians was responsible for the journey I was empowered to be on through @drinksanzo . Charismatic, intense and kind as he is in every interview, Jon looked at our cans, saw @awkwafina ‘s face and said “ooh I want that one and a photo!” And for about the 5 seconds we had to take this photo, I was floating on a cloud... Thank you for an incredible moment, and congrats on the 10 Oscar noms for @wickedmovie ... for my money should’ve been an 11th for best director! ⭐️
