What a dream to finally get the opportunity to debut in Firebird in the good care of @jaredanglenyc and @ramastar81 , who had his final debut with NYCB 🌟 It was an honor to share the stage with these exceptional partners. ❤️ Five years ago, I unfortunately had to miss my scheduled debut due to injury. I worked closely with Dr. Hamilton to figure out what was going on. I was devastated, but luckily I have the best support system. When I thought I couldn’t keep going, they told me I could. I’m forever grateful for their support during those difficult moments. It hasn’t been an easy road, but it’s my road that taught me four important lessons: grit, patience, perseverance, and positivity, or as my mom likes to say, sisu. I’m looking forward to performing this role again on Friday and Saturday matinee. I will be thinking about everyone that supported me during that difficult time, especially Dr. Hamilton. 💛
