My Chinese girlfriend’s honest review of Disney’s Lunar New Year foods in 2025 Disney California Adventure is celebrating Lunar New Year with Asian inspired dishes until February 16. While we did get the Sip and Savor Pass, we think you can skip it and just go straight for these items which will keep you full and powered up for the day’s fun! 🌭 Bahn Mi Hot Dog ($14.49) at Award Wieners is a mouthful of deliciousness! It’s meaty from the hot dog and the melt in your mouth pork belly but well balanced from the freshness of the herbs. We wish this one would stick around all year long! 🌮 Scallion pancake tostada with beef bulgogi ($8.49) This was so good we got another one even though we ran out of money on the Sip and Savor pass. Though the tostada could have been crispier, the beef bulgogi was perfectly marinated and tender! The portion was super generous and two of these can definitely keep you full 🐟 Whole fish from Paradise Grill ($29.99) a whole steamed fish is an iconic center piece on any LNY dinner. Fish in Mandarin Chinese sounds like surplus or abundance so eating one of these is believed to bring you success for the rest of the year!
