36 hours in Yosemite! When your friends secure an elusive campsite and invite you along for their first trip to this majestic place, you figure out how to go and play tour guide. Yosemite in the summer can be a zoo. Knowing how to get away from the crowds while still being able to take in the magic is key. Honestly, there’s probably no better way than pack rafting down the Merced river through the valley. It’s so peaceful. The water level is already alarmingly low this year, so I’m thankful we were able to go when we did. Hoping to get back up there one more time in July before the waterfalls dry up.
