HARK! This moment calls for a Classic Disney PeekaroundTM️! Two things: ONE - my steps are done! After ten months of struggling to find people to work on the stairs, they’re done! After the latest handyman ghosted me three times I gave up and just decided to do it myself and GIRL IT WAS FUN and it looks amazing! I’ll share more about the process soon so all the dumb videos I took along the way don’t go to waste. TWO: I passed the most important of my inspections for vacation rental! So I’m one step closer to being able to share my home with literal strangers and make some USD in the process! I’m sooooo relived. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. Yesterday was the two year anniversary of me closing on Londo Lodge. If you’ve been following, you know it’s been an adventure that was at times fun (when my aunties drove to get me after I tunneled out of ten feet over snow and hiked to the highway with my new puppy) and at other times terrible (like when my knee exploded from doing too much manual labor). There’s more inspections to come before I can rent it out and renovations will never truly be over here but I’m finally feeling some of my hard work pay off. And that feel good.
